by The Saw Doctor
Another problem that the Saw Doctor comes across regularly is aluminum stuck to the side of the blade. This is caused from not using a lubricant. Aluminum builds up on the sides of the teeth and body of the saw blade and this puts the saw under stress and causes the saw to dish. Aluminum builds up in the teeth which cause heat to build up and then you start to melt the aluminum instead of cutting it.
When cutting aluminum a lubricant must be used to stop the aluminum from sticking to the sides of the saw. A lube wax is recommended to avoid the problem of the aluminum collecting to the teeth and the sides of the saw. You can buy the lube wax at our online shop for your convenience!
