What warranty do you offer?
Carbitool products are covered by a 1 year warranty against defect workmanship, all other products are covered by a 3 month warranty. No returns are available where damaged has occurred through incorrect use or blade abuse by the operator. Defect products will be replaced and a free replacement will be delivered directly.
If you have changed your mind or if you have ordered incorrectly, please call us for a reorder and return the product to us within 14 days. The item must be in new and unused condition. All returns will be refunded, however we are unable to refund freight charges on returned goods.
If your purchase is damaged in transit we will send you a free replacement. You will need to call us to advise of any damage and return the product to us for assessment within 7 days.
What are your Payment options for the online shop?
We accept VISA, Mastercard and American Express cards. Paypal is also accepted.
What are the postage options and delivery times? All products purchased online are delivered via either Australia Post (Registered mail or Express Post) or courier. Delivery time is between 2 – 5 days depending on the item and delivery location. Allow extra time for remote areas. Courier and Postage costs will depend on the size and weight of your product. We can advise you of these costs at the time of enquiry or if ordering online they will be calculated when you proceed to the check out and complete your order and shipping details. Please note Courier service will NOT deliver to PO Boxes or residential addresses where no one is home. All parcels must be signed for or additional costs may be incurred.

Is pick-up and delivery free?
We offer free delivery and pick up to commercial customers within the local area. Outside the local area courier pick up charges are $13.00 or mail service is available. Visit our Pick-up and Delivery page for a list of local area suburbs.
Do you pick up and deliver in my area?
To see if we service your area view our pick up list. If your suburb is not on the list, call us to discuss how we can arrange pick-up and /or delivery for you.

How long will it take to sharpen my blade?
Actual sharpening time will depend on the type, condition and size of the saw blade. For blades that are dropped in to us allow 3 – 4 working days, otherwise standard delivery is on a weekly basis. If you require your blade sooner than this please call our office and we can arrange it for you.
How do I know my blade needs sharpening?
Your saw blade may show the following problems:
- Blade is burning
- Blade is burring or splintering on the cut edge
- Blade is increasing in resistance when cutting
- Blade is chipping board when cutting
- Blade pulls to one side in cut – not cutting straight
Sharpening Costs and Payment
How do I reduce my sharpening costs?
- Sharpen blades regularly to reduce grinding required to keep the blade running well and increase the life of the blade.
- Use the correct Saw blade for the type of cutting job you are doing. If you have any doubts or concerns about the best blade for the job, don’t hesitate to give us a call and have a chat and we can advise on what’s right for you.
- Use a high quality blade with high quality tips, the blade will keep its edge longer and require less sharpening.
