Bimetal Bandsaw Blades

German made, the RÖnTgen bi-alfa cobalt bandsaw blade has HSS M42 cutting tips. The high wear resistance of the saw blade results from the very hard and evenly distributed carbides in the tooth tips, formed during the hardening and tempering process. With a steel backing strip containing around 4% chromium, the saw blade can withstand the considerable flexing stresses, tension and blade guide pressure present in modern sawing machines.

The subsequent tooth setting, hardening and tempering operations ensure that the finished product will provide straight, burr-free and long-life cutting performance.

Blades are available in a comprehensive range of tooth pitches in both variable and regular to suit your needs.

Replacing the pilot drill, the 'Oops' Arbor allows diameters to be enlarged by attaching a saw of the same size to that of the existing hole. thereby acting as a pilot for the larger diameter saw.  Minimum hole enlargement is 4.7mm (3/16") between the pilot saw diameter and the cutting saw diameter.
